If you don’t think you‘ve completed the two required development activities to renew
your Instructor Membership, please see our guidance for learning and development activities
We recommend reading this first, as you may have completed a learning and
development activity externally from MHFA England that could count.
If you’re yet to complete a development activity with MHFA England, you’ll need to
complete one of the following options:
– Attend an online Instructor Member networking event
– Attend an Instructor Member Development Programme webinar
– Watch a recording of a past Instructor Member Development Programme webinar
If you are due to renew, you’ll need to complete any outstanding development
activities within a two-week period following your renewal date. Once you’ve
completed the required activities, please contact us and we can confirm this with our
Quality Assurance team.
If you’re unsure whether you’ll be able to complete this, please let us know and we’ll
be happy to explore options with you.
We also recommend you keep a detailed written record of any development activities
you complete. This should include:
– The title and type of activity
– The date it was completed
– Why this development activity was selected and how it meets your learning
needs
– A summary of the learning and how this relates to your role as outlined in the
MHFA England Quality Assurance framework
– How you will use what you have learnt to support you in your delivery
