I am approved to deliver the Online Mental Health First Aid/Online Youth Mental Health First Aid course only. How to I gain approval to deliver the face-to-face version of the course?

If you would like to be able to deliver the course face-to-face, please contact your mentor from your Instructor Training programme.

Your mentor will carry out a coaching session with you to prepare you for face-to-face deliveries of the course. Once you have completed this coaching session, you will need to complete two co-deliveries of the course with the same requirements from your assessment RAG score and provide the feedback to your mentor to be reviewed. This requirement is due to the differences in course structure, timings, and challenges between the two formats of delivery.

If you completed an Instructor Training Extension programme, your extension approval depends on your approval from your original training programme. Please contact the Training Delivery Team if you have any questions about your extension approval.
