Yes. The learning outcomes for the course have been revised to align with the learning outcomes of the MHFA course. The new learning outcomes are below.

As an MHFAider, you will be able to:

• Explain what is meant by the term ‘mental health’
• Describe the role of an MHFAider
• Describe the signs of possible poor mental health
• Demonstrate how to apply the Mental Health First Aid action plan: ALGEE in a mental health first aid conversation
• Describe how to look after your own mental health
