You will be able to access personal data on learners – their names and addresses. This means you will be subject to the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). To ensure you handle this data safely, we advise you to:
- Tell learners that you need their address to send them course materials
- Ensure you record learners’ names and addresses accurately
- Only use learners’ addresses to send them the materials they need to attend the course
- Only store learners’ names and addresses secure within the systems provided
