Can I use another virtual delivery platform such as Zoom to deliver the live sessions of the Online Mental Health First Aid course?

In some circumstances it may not be possible to use the virtual classroom tool within the Online Learning Hub. As an instructor, you will need to use a third-party virtual classroom tool. Whilst this is not how the course and hub has been designed, it is possible in some circumstances to do so.

When providing the joining instructions to learners, you need to include information about virtual classroom tools as part of the course information. If you are not using the Online Learning Hub virtual classroom tool, the joining instructions must provide the link to the virtual classroom tool you are using.

This will ensure the learner experience is simple, and that learners only ever have one place to go for the course they have registered for.

There are two versions of the slide deck available on the MHFA England Instructor Member Dashboard:

• The PDF version is designed specifically for use with the Online Learning Hub virtual classroom (PDF)
• A PowerPoint Show (PPSX) version is also available, for use with other virtual classrooms that support this format
