For launch, the approach to Quality Assurance (QA) will be based on (online) learner feedback forms, as per the current face-to-face approach.
We have built 10min into the final live session for learners to complete the learner feedback form. Guidance for Instructor Members clarifies that this must be done in the final session. The process for instructors is to:
- Mark learners as complete in the MHFA England Instructor Member dashboard to issue feedback forms at the end of live session four.
- Once learners have submitted their feedback, they will receive their certificates.
Instructor Members in training are required to ensure at least eight pieces of submitted learner feedback for each co-delivered cohort as part of their conditions for delivery and to contribute to their portfolio for sign-off by their National Trainer (NT) Mentor.
The QA approach and process will be reviewed following launch and a new process may then be introduced, for example to include a sample of live sessions to be recorded or directly observed by NTs/signed-off Instructor Members, for evaluation.
