Why is this training self-directed study rather than in facilitated groups?

In an ideal world we would be able to facilitate face to face or online learning for the whole Instructor Member Community. With nearly 2,000 active Instructor Members, the current operating environment, and the resources we have available, we felt this was the best way to provide the whole Instructor Member Community with some foundation training through self-directed study and self and peer reflection.

We will build on this foundation with additional CPDs in the months to come. We would strongly encourage all Instructor Members to make understanding of race, racism, privilege and wider equalities and inequalities a focus for reading and study in the months ahead.
