To maintain our position as the market leading provider of MHFA training, we have considered the language we use about the MHFA course. With this in mind, we have made some important changes:
- To differentiate ourselves and strengthen our competitive advantage in the marketplace, we have trademarked the term MHFAider®
- When referring to MHFAider® in all external copy, such as websites or social media, you must always use this term (i.e., including the ® symbol) throughout
- We recommend that you introduce the term in full the first time you use it. For example, Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider®)
Top tip: To insert the ® symbol into your copy on a device using the Windows operating system, hold down the ctrl, alt, and R buttons at the same time
Furthermore, when talking about our courses, the following terms must be used:
- Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England courses, and thereafter MHFA England courses
- Our Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course, and thereafter our MHFA course
This is to ensure that we are consistent with our language when referring to our courses. It must be clear that they are specific to Mental Health First Aid England.
Our aim is always to create impact and stand out. Through positioning ourselves as ‘owners‘ in this space, we can continue to lead the conversation and cement our market-leading position.
